This Week’s Scenario

Your child lied about something, or was disrespectful, and before you’ve even had a chance to sit down with them, your spouse has already taken the tablet, the phone, or the computer away, something that has nothing to do with what actually happened. Meanwhile you’re trying to sit down and understand why they lied or spoke that way in the first place. Your child is caught between a punishment that doesn’t connect to anything and a conversation that hasn’t happened yet.
